Punctuality
We ask that you arrive 5-10 min. early such that your dancer will have time to wash hands and use the restroom. Please commit to arriving a few minutes early as late arrivals are disruptive.
Behavior
Storybook Ballet strives to provide a warm and welcoming learning environment such that our young dancers can learn the art of beginning classical ballet. If a student is unable to follow the teacher’s instructions or behaves in a distracting manner, we may withdraw the student.
Attendance
Regular and consistent attendance is necessary for skill development and to learn choreography. Please make us aware of any absences.
Photo Release
Storybook Ballet may take a photo or video of my child or myself. We may use these photos for publicity purposes such as but not limited to: our website, Facebook, Instagram etc. If you would like to decline photo or video use, please notify us in writing at the time of registration.
Weather Cancellations
In case of bad weather, please check your email and/or call the studio. If classes are cancelled, the recording will state so. If bad weather is approaching in the late afternoon or evening, the decision to cancel classes may not be made until mid-day. If possible, we will offer a make-up classes. No refunds for weather cancellations.
Make Up Classes
You may request a make up class by completing our Make Up Request Form. We can accommodate a make up request if we have a known absence in a class of the same level that works with your schedule. We will schedule (if available) ONE make up class per session. Make up classes are not guaranteed, and we will not provide a refund or credit for missed classes. Make up classes will not be scheduled for Family Week.
Credit Policy
Credits will not be made after one week prior to the start of the session. All tuitions include a $20 nonrefundable registration fee.
